list of 4... pick one!

Hi [FORMATTED_FIRST_NAME GOES HERE]-

I’m writing to you because it’s Thursday. And that’s what I do on Thursdays (90% of the time!). I also just got back from walking Burt and Lucy, because that's what I do every morning. 💁🏻‍♀️

Speaking of routines, I know it’s easy to slide out of them, especially in Summer! For example, we skip the morning dog walk when it's too hot.

But if that happens too many days in a row, I get off track.

Does that ever happen to you? I'm guessing it does! So I put together 4 super simple tasks you can do today to get back on track giving your dog the best life ever.

There's no pressure here! Just pick 1 thing to get done. Then give yourself a treat... our dogs aren't the only ones who deserve a treat after being good!

  • DO THIS ONCE: Put a bag of treats in different places around your home so you can have mini training or play sessions throughout the day. I have a bag in my office, bedroom, by the front door, in my car, and in the kitchen.
  • DO THIS DAILY: Wash all dog bowls with hot soapy water. I aim to do this once a day after I learned how much bacteria and grime builds up on them. You can also put them in the dishwasher every time you run it.
  • DO THIS WEEKLY: Throw some stuff in a bowl and freeze it! I saw these alligator shaped dental chews and knew they needed to be frozen in a bone broth lake. On hot summer days, this is a great way to keep your dog cool and hydrated.
  • DO THIS EVERY SEASON: Go through your dog's toys to throw away ones beyond saving and clean the ones you want to keep. Stuffies can go in the washing machine with free and clear detergent (add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to de-stink). Rubbery toys can be soaked in a big bowl of warm water with 1/2 cup of white vinegar, too.

By the way, here's how my alligator pond frozen lick bowl turned out! The alligator is eating some strawberries 🍓🐊

Tomorrow it's going up to 90° again, so I'll share videos on Instagram of Burt and Lucy enjoying these!

Okay [FORMATTED_FIRST_NAME GOES HERE]. That’s it for today. Remember, just pick one thing from the list above and get it done.

I believe in you!
