This is the week I've been looking forward to for 4 months! I'm leaving on vacation to Italy this Friday!
I've been busting my ass every day since January 2nd and this trip is what kept me going.
Do you feel like you've been working on your pet biz non-stop since early January, too?
If so… let’s take some time away from pet business talk, shall we? After all, there will always be work to do.
Here's some fun stuff I recommend:
- This podcast episode: Esther Perel and Brené Brown talk about the "new" AI: artificial intimacy. "I have a thousand friends, but not a single person to feed my cat." Take a long walk and listen to this.
- I couldn't put this book down: I love how fictional news articles and letters are woven in between the chapters. It made The Heiress so fun to read!
- My favorite cocktail: Next time you're at a bar that does really good cocktails, order a mezcal old fashioned. My absolute fave!
- The show I'm rewatching: When I'm tired I don't want to watch a new show. Lately, I've been rewatching Modern Family. There's about 1,000 episodes and it's still so funny to me.
- Learn a language: To prepare for vacation, I enrolled in an online Italian school in January. I've had so much fun hopping on zoom once or twice a week to practice speaking with other people. If you want to learn to speak Italian check out their course, podcast and blog.
